Hi, I'm Chrismare du Toit

Thank you so much for coming to my my page.

Born and raised in South Africa. My family and I now call Colorado our home. I am the proud mom of a beautiful boy and the happy wife of my favorite person.

I haven't always been a photographer... oh no! I'm a trained singer and actor. I played in multiple musicals in South Africa and South Korea. I taught English in South Korea and Germany... but the two constants in it all... PEOPLE and my camera.

In 2017 I decide to make photography my full-time job. while I was preparing to join my husband in Germany, I was living in a small town in Wisconsin. one day while walking to the local library I saw some neighbors setting up for a garden wedding. something inside me told me to stop and ask them if they have a photographer. they didn't and I offered to take their pictures because every couple should have beautiful images of their special day.

During the past 11 years, I have lived a very nomadic lifestyle & I had the chance to ask myself what "career" would really make me happy... I love people, I love making them laugh, I like being part of their special moments, and most of all CAPTURING IT ALL!
